i have a pair of chucks. i don't really like them, that's why i never wear them. oh, i did wear them once when we were playing kick the can and i needed a pair of shoes i wouldn't care about getting dirty. i like flip flops and heels and a nice pair of sneakers, wedges and flats and don't forget my tims, but my chucks are in the back of my closet never seeing the light of day until i need a pair of shoes i don't care if they get dirty.
but i respect your like of the chucks. they're just not my type of shoe.
Dear Ben: I, too, once had a pair of chucks as they were quite a popular shoe with all the sporty types in my high school days. As with everything in my life, however, the high tops were not available in my size---just the low tops which were so not the cool ones- once again leaving me just several ticks too many on the nerdy side of the coolometer and just may have firmly cemented my place on that side and possibly lost me election to Home Coming Queen [well that and the fact that two of us were wearing the same dress and she got the stylish black one while gray was the only color available in my size.] Sigh.
